DIY: Upcycled Bottle Canisters

DIY: Upcycled Bottle Canisters

Easy No Blender Slushee

Easy No Blender Slushee

Now that kids are off of school, the temperature’s hotter, the days are longer, and the pools are open, it’s time for cool summertime treats.

One of my favorite summer treats remains the slushee.  But you don’t have to head out to the store or pull out the blender to enjoy one at home.

All you need is your favorite soda (or pop) and a freezer.

How to do it:

  1. Pour about 12 ounces of your favorite soda (pop) in a cup.
  2. Leave in the freezer for about 2 hours.
  3. Stir and enjoy.
